Default probably a simple solution...

erm ok here goes.

the strip of black rubber/plastic that goes from the windscreen over the roof to the rear window is loose. big gaps between it and the bodywork. passenger side one.

does it need sealing as the clips seem ok. i pulled a bit off and had a look/clean under there. what could i use to sort it out? takes a bit of pressure to make it sit flush on the bodywork.

can take a piccy if people dont know what i mean.

cheers

andy

One of mine came out of it's clips when I first fitted roof bars.

I smacked it hard with the heel of my hand and it went down.

You might try hot water over it before hitting it in this weather, to make it more flexible.

Be careful CoB. Knowing your luck you'll **** the diff or something whilst trying to repair the window seal.

Hey up,
My n/s strip flew off when on the motorway......took all the clips with it also! Got a new one from St Ledger Subaru in Donny with clips, fitted it myself but 1 clip just won't sit in right near the windscreen.....the strip it secured to the clip, but the clip comes off the mounting to the body of the car. It's bloody annoying cos your always waiting for it to fly off again................Good luck
Carl
