Had one also (the twin-pipe OE-look one) - loved it.
Eventually I had to give in and go for something louder though, so upgraded to a Firestorm.
To be honest the 'burble-quality' of the group N item was nicer

just out of interest does anyone know what the group n would sound like compared to standard sti back box, on a classic with standard exhaust system. mine sounds a bit "farty" with the sti, not cool .
much appreciated.

Sound great under normal driving, great burble.............. sound awesome under load i.e. giving it some beans!
The farting comment made me laugh, mine certainly did not sound like it was farting for sure. I would agree with most of the above, a bit louder than a pro drive back box and much nicer sound under spirited driving conditions.
and looked good too........ results may vary as mine had PPP (including sports cat) with a TSL re-map so I suppose if yours is a std sti it may alter the overall results.

I`ve had one in the past, found it slightly louder than a Prodrive backbox but had a `rasp` at higher revs which I didn`t like. Due to that it didn`t stay on very long and went back to the Prodrive box

Also known as daz
I found it a bit too quiet once i adjusted to it, nice deep burble but it needed to sound meaner.
With the group a decat it sounds awesome, enough noise not to get on my nerves.
