I have to admit a journalist on the WRC events would be my ideal job, especially if i could concentrate on the mechanics and technical side to the sport, reporting on what makes the WRC teams function would be facinating.
I do host a chat show actually, its

Can you ask him which is the bestest: P1, 22B, EVO ...
Sorry, couldn't resist
But more seriously: maybe he should just buy a portable, and get on here on a regular basis. Might be fun for him as well.
We from our side would have to behave a bit more than last time, but I'm sure we could manage that.
John: you going for the DVD version then huh ?

Simon,
I'm sure you will pass on our best wishes for the coming season and also our appreciation for Richard spending some of his time posting on here.
One question then.
Will Richard be posting on Scoobynet again?
I'm sure the vast majority on here would be extremely grateful, sensible and the moderators could always delete the phantom Dave Richards, Colin McRae type posts.
Thanks
Lee

How aboutD
Q. "Are you glad your first name was not 'Side'.
Si...thats a joke.
Q. Have you driven the Nurburgring? If so in what car and what was your lap time...
Q. Do you get stick off your mates for having a cars special edition named after yourself (RB5)?
Q. What is the most strenuous part of rallying on the mind? Is it the stress of the concentration required?
Q. Do you miss your family while away with the SRT?
Regards and Happy New Year

Q: Ever come to the states for rally or Subaru related events?
Q: How does he feel about the potential of a North American edition to the WRC events?
Q: Does he think it will ever happen?
Q: Will you (Burns) marry me?

well done guys (and gals!)..
Especially well done to john for getting into the spirit of it and putting so much time into it (some great questions as well)..
We are really fortunate to have this oportunity. This is just for *us*! so it's great to see we are taking advantage of it.
I can't wait to ask some of the questions I've always thought "why the hell don't they ask him X,Y,Z, etc".
I'm not sure of the actual date of the interview, but I expect it to be in the few days. I'll find out tomorrow.
Keep 'em coming!

I'd like to know his views on "team orders" during an event, particularly after the time penalties, or disqualifications, were handed out for people actually stopping on a stage to preserve an advantage for their teams elected No1 driver. Also, could he possibly comment on the goings on at Peugeot this year where they appeared to have two completely seperate teams competing in the WRC but only one guy decided who came first and who didn't - how do SWRT deal with internal team arguements
Cheers

Did Richard regret the tactics he employed in Australia, when he slowed down towards the end of Leg 2 to try to get the advantage of a swept road on the final day?
Does he feel that if he had kept driving at a normal pace he could have won the rally?
Would he do the same thing next year?
