Just purchased some my00 16" alloys with almost new Bridgestone potenza's on(100 miles). The thing is, the road noise from is awful considering the price of the tyre compared to 15" proxes I had. I know the profile is different but i had 50 profile tyres on my old car and am sure they werent as noisy as these. Is it because they are new, if so will they quieten down?

Hi,
Bridgestones are a harder compound of tyre thats why you get more road noise, but thell last a lot longer, Ive got potenzas on my type r but the hks super drager sounds them out quite well i think, expensive option though, cheaper to turn the stereo up if you cant afford a big exhaust,Hmmmmm...
