I will soon be upgrading from my Corsa to (hopefully) a 4dr saloon Impreza turbo. The only thing that I'm not sure of is weather or not it's going to fit in "my space" in the driveway.

In order to park my car I have to reverse in a way very similar to how you'd park between two cars in the driving test only the gap is much smaller.

So,

What is the length and width of say, a 1997 4/2dr saloon and is there lots of steering lock available as I'd like to get it in in one go (basically, I take it the impreza isnt as annoying as Land rover's when it comes to steering lock)

Also, is the lower edge of the front bumper the lowest point at the front of the car ? How low is it ? (as it'd be helpfull if it will swing over a very low wall when parking)

I'm sad and i know i am but here goes...
all in metric
4dr turbo UK MY99 spec
Length:4350
Width:1690
Height:1400
Wheelbase:2520
Min ground clearance assuming std suspension and tyres (not allowing for tyre wear!):145

I doubt if the turning circle is anywhere near as good as a Corsa's as the Corsa wheelbase must be considerably shorter. should be be better than a Landie though.

Keep an eye on the 'Private' forum on Scoobynet or put a post in the 'Wanted' sections this may prove useful when it comes time to purchase.
