Having written off my M5, wanted to get a Focus for a runb around untill i get my money sorted from the Insurance company...

Have been to see two cars so far, and a complete waste of time...


Budget is £2k...looking for a 4 door...i am in London, but willing to travel up to 100miles...

If i want a run around i usually pick it up at auction. Never had a problem yet.

Thing is with buying privately you are running around the country looking at cars most of which turn out to be dogs. Half of 'em have come from auction anyway and some lying seller is trying to tell you that it is his sisters car or something.

At least if you go to auction you can see lots of cars all in one place and all in one day.
