Touch Up Paint For STi Golds ?
#4
You dont...Its not mentioned anywhere on the car. I use Du-Pont paint and they give details of wheel colours and dash colours you can mix from your mixing sceme.
If you give me 5 minutes i'll pop out sde to my van and get the code for you. I've done plenty of wheels and the match is good!
I'll post in a couple of mins m8

Right slight problem.
They dont actually have a code as such. I'll try and explain......
All cars have a colour code on the vehicle e.g P9 on a ford Mondeo for example. This is Radiant Red. You can go to any paint supplier with the code P9 and they will tell you that it is Radiant red and will have their own formulation for mixing this colour which has its own reference number (so can be found on micro fische) I dont have a colour code for the wheels but have a Du-pont reference number for it.
This means you can only get it mixed from a Du-pont supplier cos its their formulation reference number. if you go to Sikkens or PPG for example they will look at you with a blank face. This is not to say that they cannot mix the colour but if you get some simpleton that cant be ar$ed then you will get nowhere!!!
The refernce is F9657.
Where are you?
Do you know any paint suppiers in your area...places that supply your local bodyshop.
I can send you some if need be i guess!!
