Prodrive or not

Prodrive or not
My bugeye V5 says its a prodrive but I havn't got a certificate to say that it has had a PPP .Is there a difference between a factory produced prodrive and that of a normal soob that has been fitted with a prodrive package ?
I ask because I have seen a similar car to mine being advertised as a prodrive scoob that has also had a PPP fitted
Are the specs different ??

AFAIK all PPP cars have it done after the initial manufacture
It will have a different backbox if it does have PPP anyway. Normal WRX exhaust is a twin exit pipe, PPP a large single pipe.
There is also the Prodrive styled bug too (both standard and PPP flavours)

If its on the V5; your's will be a STI Prodrive Style.
My bug is a STI Prodrive Style, with the PPP fitted. Tis two different things
Prodrive style bug has different bumpers, sideskirts (I think..), high level spoiler, blue faced instrument cluster, and I think a couple of other minor differences. If you look in the gallery section theres a nice long thread devoted to them

PPP for a 2002 car consists of (I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong ) - re-map + exhaust with sports cat + downpipe with deleted cat (or the other way around..). I don't think the fuel pump was included until the blobeye PPP's?
I don't see much point in you going the PPP route on a '02 car though because your out of warranty anyhow - I'd suggest find an exhaust you like, downpipe, etc, and get it remapped by an experienced mapper - It'd likely be cheaper and give better results.

Its got a different zorst on at the mo,I believe its been totally decatted. I'll have to save some pennies to get it re-mapped .Will it make a noticable difference ?

Yes, a BIG difference.... I drove a non-PPP'd STI and found the 6speed box a bit awkward because it never felt "right" - with PPP levels of power/torque its quite a bit better for normal day to day driving.

Fuel Pump original wasn't fitted with PPP on the Bugeye but was retro fitted afterwards

Your not wrong
The early 2002's PPP were not "Remap" but a daughter board fitted to the ECU mid 2003 MY02's were remapped using ECUTEK
STi's PPP have Sports Cat, 2nd Cat bypassed, back box, Remap and fuel Pump. was £1995 fitted
WRX's PPP have 2nd Cat Bypass, Backbox, remap and a blue upgrade intercooler induction hose. was £1595 fitted
IIRC IMHO
