I had my 2003 sti ppp done just over a month ago, major service including cambelt and all fluids ie gearbox & difs ect, £495 at subaru, so if your not having the cambelt changed it should be nowhere near £500.

I always think what would be reasonable, then add a bit. Invariably the actual bill is still always higher
MY02 WRX IIRC I paid £700 at a main dealer. And I provided my own oil

lol it makes me lauf the people who pay silly money at main dealers, just take it too a specialist.
I just payed £215 for a cambelt service, oil and filter change and front pads and front drop links being fitted.
However, I supplied the tensioner which I payed £60 for a new one, £40 for a cambelt (new), £30 for Noltec front drop links (new) and front brake pads £25.
If you are prepared to shop about you can save a packet but I don't think people can be bothered to be honest

I paid £330 for my 3rd year service on an 04 wrx. The dealer started off with a price around £520ish. After threatening to go elsewhere and being pushy it came down to £400 then £330. Still alot of money but that seems to be a good price judging by what some others have paid.
