Hi there guys. How can i identify what im buying here? Is there any badges/plates in the engine bay? Exterior differences? Suspension differences?

Basically what i want to know is:

Is it an Sti 5 or an Sti 6???

I know it says sti 6, but were they not 2000 on, not 1999?

MY00 cars wil start being made in about October 99, thus although STI6 is MY00, it could be made and registered in 99.

My STI5 is a MY99, but registered in Dec 98.

you can get 99 sti6 aswell as the 00 sti6.
the wiring on the left of the engine bay just behind the airbox
is different in the 5 and 6.
otherwise there the same bar the rear spoiler and splitter.
maybe the ecu aswell

Model code on a V6 STi saloon should be GC8G4ED ON A V5 it would be GC8F4ED
