picking up scoob tomorrow.oil question
Well saying goodbye to my trusty golf tonight, the best car i have ever owned and picking up the run around tomorrow. Its a uk my97 with 135k on the clock (ouch) it seems to run and drive ok but i guess time will tell.
it will need new disks soon as they look prety worn but for now i will just change oil and filter.
What grade of oil is good for a high mile motor -any thoughts ??

10w40 semi synthetic (normally shell helix or the likes) and get the cambelt changed, always a must if you dont know/want to be on the safe side/when it was changed last.
