Question

I have a copy of the car import guide, according to the article on the STI TYPE R its only capable of 130mph. Is this true? . My brothers friend has WRX and says he's had a 155mph.

Don't know what there talking about as my Type-R(Ver5)in top @6500 rpm shows 130mph on speedo, so at approaching redline(Don't do it for long!!!!)should be around 150mph(ie Just under 20mph per 1000rpm).

Maybe it was a Type-RA......but don't know too much on their gearing etc?

So you still haven't decided yet?....Go on get a Type-R, there totally nuts!!!!!

Tony.

I've been in a STI v6 Coupe (IIRC it was a Type R) that we had off the clock in Germany (three up as well). Probably around 140 to 150 allowing for speedo inaccuracy.
