Foudn the car I want but it has no tracker so I need to get that sorted for insurance purposes

so far the only quote I have had is for Navtrack with £450 install and £9.99 a month, is that good or would you recomend a different tracker or installer near by to hertfordshire?

Cheers
Dave.

SD, Tracker !!

The same one as the link above have a read of that, i had Tracker Monitor which means if ya cars nicked tracker RING YOU and tell you your car is moving is it supposed to be ?

Had no expierence with other systems so i cant comment but i never had any problems with Tracker (mind u i never had me car nicked to try out there system)But i would have one fitted again as i've never heard any bad reports about them.

RAC one is even better, since the police do not require the chase car to be fitted with receiving equipment, it can be vectored in by the RAC control centre. Other trackers require receiving equipment (mostly).

Also, RAC trackstar uses a newer generation GPS. They also ring you when it moves etc... 300 quid for life is fine as you can do a deal with new owner and give them his number and tell him who he is supposed to say he is

Just thought I'd put my name down as another happy Tracker Monitor user, never had any problems. Nice idea that they phone you if they think your car's been nicked

I believe Tracker Horizon, offers all the features of RAC Trackstar (GPS, phone calls etc) but their units also work in conjunction with all the police forces.

Full rundown of the levels the offer:

I have RAC Trackstar... don't even know were the gizmo is!

The installer guy comes out to you as long as you have somewhere sheltered for them to work. Talking to the guy that fitted mine (he also trained other fitters) they take more care over the Subaru, Evo and Skyline fittings!

RAC is linked to the police as well.

"RAC is linked to the police as well."

In what way ?

I was referring to the devices in the patrol cars that pick up Tracker signals.
