unlucky .... depends on the age and laptops worth.

Normally we (I work for an IT Co) dont bother if the laptops less than about £400 as it's really not cost justifiable !!

Try HP or Google for laptop repairers. Normally (nowadays) they have to go off to a specialist repairer for the screens, every other part can be done in house or by user.

Business wise google EAF or E.A.F. they can supply spares but just asking around the office they're all saying don't bother really as it'll cost as much as a laptop ..... but worth a phone call.

Cheers

that laptop was £1200 two months ago, had a quote of £180 to replace it, plus vat and delivery.

Going to go through house insurance though as someone pointed out! thanks.

Hang on, £180 to replace a £1200 laptop? I didn't know technology went out of date SO fast.

Unless the replacement is nicked?
