Change your insurance company, it sounds like your paying a lot more than you should, contact Gary, at Keith michaels insurance (if you haven't already) he should be able to get that down by quite a bit, he saved me £750 on my insurance.

regards

Dan.

My insurance didn't go down after my 25th either, but it did significantly after my 26th birthday.

You have to ring Gary to get a good quote, the online ones apparently are not up to scratch!

Correct the online thing will not give you a good quote! Speak to Gary to get the best deal possible, I hit 25 this year and Gary has saved me £900 and that with all my mods covered like for like.

People forget that insurance companies don't have fixed goal posts, and they can move them as far away as they please.

It'll drop when your 50....but it'll go back up shortly after as your considered to be old and doddery

Either way, if they think they can get away with charging such and such amount, they will. (one reason why I think 3rd party cover should be nationalised as part of our road tax).

Shop about. Barter. Sometimes the most expensive quotes are the companies that advertise alot (and that include the ones on this website).

Just change your insurance company. Last year, I switched from £800 a year to £370 just by moving to a different insurance company! Though I had 7 years NCB when I changed over.

LOL, so true.

I've seen rating guides (I work in insurance ) and the drop in premiums as policyholders get older is gradual - there is no single huge drop.

To Quinn Direct insurance, based in N Ireland. I was with Ford Insure (Norwich) which is a big rip-off, however it was the cheapest around some years ago when I phoned around.

My car isn't scooby, just a bog-standard Ford Mondeo but you can image my surprise when given a quote!

Jumping ship every few years is recommended!
