Default ecu change

I have a 95 wrx wagon and was going to change the ecu with a 95 wrx saloon will I get 260bhp like the saloon or is there other differences between the engines is this mod worth doing

If you fit another ECU it is not specifically mapped toyour car.
ECUs for your car can now be live mappedand that must give safer results as fuel igniion are tailored to your particular engine.
I think guys on here tht do it are Bob Rawle BRD, Scott T and JGM.

Yes and no. You will need to fit the Z4 ECU from the C-Series cars along with a TD05 turbocharger. This will give you 260PS running on 97/98RON super unleaded fuel. As an aside: this will give you a similar configuration to the 1996 WRX SportsWagon STI.

no as turbo is different as gc8 says

td04 on wrx wagon td05 on saloon
