Default spec c vf37 twin scroll

guy just wondering

has anyone fitted one of these to a classic impreza?

especialy to a 1999 uk turbo?

would it be a direct fit, and what power are they capable of?

how would the uk gerabox stand up to one of these?

any help would be great as i need to replace my td04 b4 i go for a remap, the car already has the supporting mods ie fmic, injetcors etc etc

Spec C's have the VF36 fitted, which is the roller bearing version of the VF37.

As it is a twin scroll unit, new headers, up and down pipe and a new sump are needed for fitment. As regards anyone fitting one to a classic, I'm not sure.

With supporting mods they're good for around 360bhp.

A number of people have done this mod to classics. See Floyds project in the project forum for one case.

As Mr RA said, lots to replace, basically half your engine needs to be changed to fit the turbo and supporting system, tbh its not worth the effort in a classic, cheaper to get a whole engine and try doing it that way.
