defo remap if fitting front mount in my opinion to get the best from it and make sure fuelling and boost are ok.
if you are planning more mods why not do it all together and you only have to pay for the map once?that is what i did works out cheaper in the end

Potentially yes, especially on a P1, which basically has a Sti 5 map i.e originally mapped for 100ron fuel. If driven in anger you could nip and piston and require a rebuild. You could just pootle around off boost, but would be better to arrange a remap straight after fueling

b) The P1s ECU is basically programmed to expect 1000 RON fuel, best we have is 99RON, and on top of that, you're introducing significantly more cold air into the mix.... recipe for a mishap.
Remap £600 assuming it's your first one. New engine about 3 grand upwards for one with forged pistons etc...
Your choice But why scrimp with such a nice car?

Fitting a front mount without a remap would be very foolish. You might be lucky and get away nwith it but if you don't you are down upwards of £1000 and loose your car for a week or two. What is also certain is that you will not get the best from your FMIC without a remap so why fit it in the first place?
