was out in my friends friends scooby. he is looking to sell it for 4k 1998 100,000miles dump valve full blitz exhaust, 17" oz alloys and a coulpe more mods. but any way was out driving the car and as i was cumming back the gear box seemed to freeze up. it felt like there was no oil in th egear box. but im pretty sure there was oil what could this be any ideas guys. just went from normal to very stiff all of a sudden.

4k? that will be right lol. sound like one thats has the **** razzed out of it. avoid if i were you.

Hmm doesnt sound too good. Was there any other probs? Was the box making any sounds? 4k isnt that cheap, I would have a good look around/test drive a few before you make up your mind. If you do go for your friends turbo I would want to knock him down by a few hundred just in case...

Was going to say, you can get 100K MY99/00 for 4K these days.

Anyway, if a car does anything you don't like on a test dont buy it. You'll fee a complete **** if you buy it and a week later need a rebuild.
