You know the You Tube Video of Colin @ the X Games?

I have told loads of people about how he rolled it and, as soon as it stopped rolling, he was off again.

He only missed first place by a fraction.

To me, that was a great memory of Colin.

People ask me to show it to them (the truth is, they cn't be arsed going onto you tube to find it for themselves).

I have tried to save it onto my laptop so I can show them.

No success.

Any bright spark on here know how I can save it from You Tube & play back on my laptop WITHOUT going on line??

Can't get the address to highlight & paste.

You know, http:// www.youtube etc.

Everytimne I get the You Tub of Colin it plays & I can't see where the **** the address is to highlight?/

Alan it works for me. Al i do is copy paste for example, http://.youtube.com/watch?v=trDu5HE6B_U&feature=dir, into the box where it says url on the web site Nate gave and then hit enter

Exactly right

I just copy exactly what is in the address bar and paste it onto the 'download youtube' page. So far the only vids I have found that don't download, are the ones you have to verify you are over 18 for. But you can use a different program for those anyway

make sure you add .flv when you save it to your hard drive though , otherwise it will not play.

I hadn't downloadeed all the FLV Player properly!

Any idea how to make the Scren bigger when you play it back it's the size of a postage stamp??

Download the latest version of Real player (required for most of the bbc's vid/sound content) and activate the download now button and everytime you stream a video (unprotected) you get a button to download it. works on youtube and lots of other places.

Just such a sad loss for Subaru, & everyone else, Colin Mcrae gave 110%.


Sadly missed.

However, when I can watch this, on my own, show NON Beleivers now on my Laptop what a fantastic driver Colin was, makes it all worthwhile.

There's also one where it shows the practice runs. Where he does the same thing, minus the roll. To show what he was trying to achieve and that it's normally possible.

Still not watched the Colin Mc Legend DVD that santa brought me yet.
