Default Information about flyer printing (strange one I know :-) )

I wondered if there were any commercial printers on this forum who could help?

I am looking to print my own flyers and wondered what set up I would need. I am talking about running off large quantities (not a few thousand).

I just bought an Epson C8600 X-press on Demand SRA3 printer which I initially thought I could use for this. I got it at a good price and it came with the RIP console etc. I've not looked fully into what this can do but I don't think I'll be able to get the full glossy finish like what you get on flyers.

What printer do I need? I am sure it will be something along the lines of a litho printer?

What is the cheapest litho I can get and do you have any links to information and prices? What is the typical running costs of one of these? For instance if I wanted to print 5000 A5 flyers, single sided on 130g paper, how much would it cost? (With average coverage)

Many thanks for your help.
