Well your english is a damn sight better than my italian thats for sure.

There are varying reports on the STi's performance but if you want it straight from the horses mouth then go to http://www.subaru.co.uk and follow the nice pink STi buttons.

Matteo,

one of the weekly car magazine here in the UK did a full road test on the car, and the issue appeared in the shops yesterday.

From memory:

0-60: 4.9 seconds
0-100: 13.5 seconds
Top speed 148mph
Weight: 1470Kg

They praised the handling, ride and overall competence of the car, and liked it a lot.

JohnS,

Our poor Italian friends have just about gotton over the conversion to the Euro and now you are hitting them with imperial measurements of speed

To convert from miles to km's, divide by 5 and multiply by 8!

eg.

60mph = 96kmph (Euro standard acelleration metric is 0-100kmph ie. 0-62mph)
100mph = 160kmph
148mph = 236.8kmph !

The Swiss site is not available in Italian for some reason (only German and French) but they quote 5.5 seconds* for the 0-100kmph sprint and 238kmph# flat out.

http://www.subaru.ch/fr/home/show/show-impre/show-impre-turbo-sti/show-impre-turbo-sti-tech.htm

A presto!

* That last 2mph can't account for an extra 0.6 seconds!!!
# That's 1.2kmph faster though!
