Default anyone bought a cat'c' repair ? whats involved after repaired...

is it just a straight mot or is there an inspection needed....

Cat C has to have a VIC check now, think the law changed last year some time. Basically an inspection to make sure the car's identity is correct.

£36 then they give youa pass cert and a v62 to send off for a logbook, as of a coupole years ago new logbook applications for cat c listed cars are free so all in its 36 quid

check takes about 15 mins, you dont have to wait for the logbook to tax the car you can nip to your local dvla office and tax with the vic pass cert

also on the logbook will be written

car been substantionally damaged and reparired,vic checked on..... blah blah blah
