My wide arch conversion is still work in progress as i'm trying to finance the 2.5l conversion which i'm having done.
But to keep my fingers dirty i found a red classic on here a couple of weeks ago with a seized engine and brought that cheap, to put the 2.0l that i took out of my 1st scooby into.
Type RA Wide arch Project - due to have a 2.5l
98 WRX with Seized Engine - Due to have my 2.0l fitted asap.
Right first off, there are 3 Shades of 74f mine is the darkest one. Type R Pete has the lighter shade side by side there is a world of difference. Secondly if i had a choice it would be DBM, Silver Scooby Sports Classic is Stunning in Sunlight

Cheers Si It looks like I timed my thread visit just right
Mines 95H Deep Blue Mica from what I understand it's a colour that only appeared on the 99/00 models, the other shade is Dark Blue Mica 52D IIRC.
Mine needs sunlight and it really wakes up as Si has said....
Here we go....
And a slightly older pic when the sun comes out...
I have to say Minty that Ra looks incredible very unusual not to see front door handles, I've only noticed people smoothing the rears over before now.
I'd go for deep blue mica (but I'm biased), it's a colour you really have to see in the flesh, especially on a sunny day, photos just don't do it justice.
This is the best photo of the colour I could find, it really comes alive in the sunshine and looks a lot lighter blue than in photos.
