Default Petrol Protest Result !

Went to fill up knowing that every Tom Dick and Harry will be queuing up to panic buy.
Went to my local shell station where they have run out of Diesel and Regular on two of the pumps - so.... No queuing to load up with V Power.
Excellent

Same happened to me the last time there was a block aid, anyone with 'normal' cars don't want to pay the price of regular unleaded let alone v power costs!

I'm told that because one BP round my way (lower Earley nr Asda) ran out of normal, it is selling Ultimate at the normal 95 RON price.

Fuel protest falls flat - Shields Gazette
Fuel protest lacks support - icWales

So much for all you lot moaning about fuel prices, how many of you went and protested.....none?

I hope that is the last of the fuel moaning threads now....

I was out driving all day with work so listened to radio 1 most of day.

Every half hour there was a news report on the fuel protests.

I noticed the how the protests were very quickly described as a SMALL protests.

Obviously to try and play it down and prevent people from panic buying.

The BBC should be renamed the PCBC - that being the Politically Correct Broadcasting Corporation.

That's my take on things any way. I might be wrong
