To quote :

"This car would be good for much larger BHP just needs to be chipped, re-mapped and header pipes and we'd easily be a strong 400bhp car

Bad Bits

Small dent in rear boot hardly noticeable

Crack on front bumper

Small dent on rear drivers wings hardly noticeable

Small crack in center of front spoiler

Small crunch under front spoiler right hand side

Small dent on wheel front left

Or in other words :

"Like all Imprezas, you could make this one go faster by modifying it"

and

"Oh, and it's got lots of dents and isn't the car I advertised anyway !"

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Please tell me you are not serious. If so, I'd like a go of what you are smoking. 400kg lighter!!!!! Wow. I'm in complete shock and awe. Must handle like a dream. As for the rest of what you wrote, well I just don't know where to start........

Facelifted means the bonnet, bumpers, lights etc. have been changed to more modern face-lift model spec.

Yours has had a Tommy Kaira bumper/grill - i.e. not facelifted.

You state on your ad it looks like a 2000 Model - it doesn't!

This is a 2000 Model:

AFAIK the Scec C didnt arrive till the newage models came out, just cause you seemingly have an RA it dosent make it a Spec C let alone a Spec C RA-R

you say it weighs in 400KG lighter than standard

Engine type: EJ20G DW1HJ
Transmission type: TY752VB3BA
Turbo type: Mitsubishi TD05H
Horsepower: 240PS/6000rpm
Torque: 224lb ft (31.0Kg-m) @ 5000rpm
Boost pressure: 11.47psi
Engine structure: Closed deck
ECU model: U8
Weight: 1170Kgs

you saying it weighs in 400 kilos lighter than a standard RA? so you telling me it weighs in at 770KG? i think not

yours has a rear window wiper, the RA dosent, also no mention of intercooler spray bottle

do you have a model code so we can find out just what it is?

Fair play to you mate for sticking up for your car, but there are some mighty claims in there and surely you realize that you cannot just make a model name up.??

Got a feeling this will be a long thread, hang on off for some juice to get ready for the action, lol.

I have just been talking to someone who knows this guy and he's really upset with you guys ...which is a bit of a worry as apparently he's a martial arts expert (hence the yingyang symbol on the bonnet) which is in-fact the symbol used in 'Jeet Kun Do' martial arts (Bruce Lee's Symbol) ..

Apparently the guy is a really nice honest bloke and was'nt out to decieve anyone which is why he withdrew his advert until he has complete clarification and confidence that what he is selling is what it is....

The Guy said he's been in this car and it is mega quick considering still only pushing out standard break and is extremely lightweight hence why its so fast, he said somthing about its been weighed at a weigh point and if compared to standard WRX does weigh considerably less ... but probably not 400kg

Its funny actually how many threads you can find with the same misconception about which model we drive and I suppose with any car thats 14 years old and comes from Japan .... will we ever know what replication has been carried out during its life.

One thing is for sure Spec C it could be classed as ... as this is the classification group for Saloons and Coupes ... Type R it could also be reading on some other sites like the RA and RA-R sites whereby many other people are not exactly sure what model they are driving even with chasis and Engine numbers confirmed ...

Anyway ... you should take it easy on people and dont jump to conclusions as you never know who it is your upsetting ... and never know when you will find a horses head next to you when you wake up
