Default Would this car be worth the asking price

hi im only new on the site and my mate who is a memeber said to join. I need help. Im looking to by my mates subura that he is selling but dont no if its a good price thanks

it's a 1997 with 103000
IMPREZA TURBO 2000 AWD
MANUAL
4 DOOR SALOON
DUMPVALVE
BOOST GAUGE
BOOST TIMER
BIGGER INTERCOOLER
FULL STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM FRONT TO BACK
BLACK 17INCH ALLOYS WHEELS

and a couple of other wee things, its putting out 270bhp

he's looking around £3800 is it worth it or if us think its to deer wat should i offer him, its been well looked after. thanks for the help in advantage

The car in standard form from that year would have been pushing 208-215bhp or thereabouts when new.
I'm sure it would take more than the mods listed to give it 270bhp. Is that verified by a graph?
Also with the mileage it would be slightly down on power anyway unless it's had a rebuild.
Just a thought.

not 100% sure mate but wat i do no, there mite well be other things done as he hasnt told me the full spec but he rounds about with a couple of the OMA subura specialist over in belfast where i live.

if the car as been remapped then it could well be pushing 270bhp.

Car would need to have had a re-map to get those figures. As for price, for a grand or so more you should be able to get one with half that milage.
I would not pay that kind of money for it
