Question Transmission Loss

Just been looking at the MLR and looking through some of the EVOs for sale.

What sort of transmission loss do them boys work on cause theres a Evo 9 for sale with 282.5 Bhp ATW which he's worked out to be roughly 380 at he fly thats 35% loss

Surely they must be a similiar loss to a Impreza ie around the 18% Mark?

The new-age ECUs actually work out a theoretical at-the-wheel figure, but I'm not sure how. On the run that gave me 390bhp flywheel on the rollers, the ECU reckoned 275 or so at the wheels. But as I said, I've no idea how accurate it is.

heres a link to conversion figures , citroen no less, pmsl

c_converter_rates Page

Bhp to KW 0.7457 KW to Bhp 1.3410
Bhp to PS (hp DIN) 1.0139 PS (hp DIN) to Bhp 0.9863

so 220ps = 216.986bhp

Because I was always told that transmission loss was around the 18% mark, if it's infact 26% then my bragging rights for my fly figure have just increased by around 20BHP

I've had three sessions on the rollers (and used two different ones), plus have had umpteen delta dash runs (and had the car on a weigh bridge)....mine has always been around the 14-16% mark....
