Good luck Chunkey Monkey.

Hope it doesn't cost you the earth.

I can symathise, my VF28 packd up recently, and had to get another blower, plus an STI up pipe.

Good luck M8.

if you need a new crank that will knock a hole in your grand budget.

me and my cousin rebuilt mine about 12 months back, my crank was good to go again though. i would change the oil pump aswell £100 to £180 + the cambelt £40-£50 notes, thats the first £150+ sterling's.

it all adds up

thats up to you but me personaly i would change it. check the roller's, tensioner and water pump if they are noisey the bearings might be shafted.

get the block cleaned and the bores honed when its all stripped

sounds stupid but all the little things add up ££
