30k for a 9 year old car with 45k miles!
Id love a GTR but not around that price.
The new GTR plus the 10 year SVA limit should send prices the right way shortly!

R34 GTR is still V.popular in Japan, so the prices are not going to get cheaper as yet.
Until the tuning and racing scene in Japan adopt the R35 as the new unit the R34 prices are staying high.
That in itself may be difficult as Nissan don't want tuners to tune up the R35 and have designed the engine to be very difficult to modify unllike the RB26.

Its not going to be very difficult, its just that Nissan can monitor all the engine paramaters and will void your warraty!

What about Escort Cossies and the prices they command - even the very last of them on a P/R 96/97 with low miles are 10 yrs old and they are still going for 15k+ and remember they were around 28k brand new on a Lux version so if you know your motors then you know that they are becoming scarce so in that state demand a high premium.
Exactly like the GTR34 as (stands to be corrected) they must of been around the 50-55k mark or even more and how many of them do you see on the roads!! Not many I bet as I've only ever seen 1 and that was a black one a few months ago round my way.
At the end of the day you pays for what you get and if I had a spare 30k I'd be buyin that all day long!

what im interested in is what the guy has bought for his "new car" as stated in the reason for selling ........ where do you go looking to replace a car that has more street presence than a zonda and more attitude than mike tyson after a stella?

ive had 2 R33s and had work done at rising sun performance ..... both mine were 400bhp+ ........ they are quick trust me but then again a standard scoob doesnt feel blistering and neither does a standard skyline , we all know its the engine mods that create the myth about the skyline ... fact.... they are one of the easiest cars ever made to get 200bhp gains from without spending belgiums economy to get it ....... 200bhp gains from the impreza you would be looking at spending simply stupid money ...... skylines can get this gain with a 5k outlay easliy ...... thats the genius and the draw of theese cars
