Default main dealer labour rates

one of the remotes for my sti stopped working the other day, flat battery i thought so off to halfrauds to buy a replacement. bought 2 just in case changed the battery but the remote still wouldn,t arm/disarm the alarm.

next step off to my local main dealer, saw the guy on service reception - ahh yes he says your key needs reprogramming, this takes about 45 mins he says.

a job card is made out & the car driven round to the service bay. i,d just sat down, after about 10 mins after giving the new wrx a once over, when the car arrives back from the service bay. all done and working ok.

time to pay the bill - £60.00

this works out at about £360.00/hour

p.s. i was told the price before having the work carried out but i think i,m entitled to a moan about it
