Default Should i stay with Dunlop??

I currently have 4 Dunlop SP Sport 9000's on my classic but need to get the front 2 changed soon.

Should i buy 2 more of the same tyres or would it be ok to put on a pair of Toyo Proxies T-1R's?

Cheers

Has to be Eagle F1s all the way for me - have them on the P1 and they're aweseom - have the Toyos on my S16 - and they're alright - but rubbish in the wet - and have really soft side walls... Admittedly not exactly a fair comaparison!!!.

Another vote for the F1s. I had them on my classic and they were brilliant.

Is it ok to have different tyres on the front to the rear?

Don't think you'll really notice the difference - as long as you have the same tyres on each "axle". i.e. front tyres need to be the same as each other - and the back tyres need to be the same as each other.

F1s for me as well. Dunlops were not far behind mind you. Just do not fit Bridgestones. Awful!!

I've got SP9000's on mine and I think they're great tyres - granted they're perhaps not as grippy as many other tyres in the dry, but I think their wet weather performance makes up for that.

Comes down to how you feel and how you drive really I guess. I fancy trying some A048's, being a big fan of Yokohama's on most of my previous cars, but I'm certainly not putting them on before Spring comes back around!

According to my knowledge the Toyos have very hard sidewalls, which makes them very noisy on the road, but also gives them a longer lifspan. Tried and tested, I'll only use bridgestone potenza on my car, or at a push perelli. Good for everyday use in wet or dry and the odd track day and 1/4 mile.
