Default Tire size question

Hello, I currently have 185/70R/13 size tires on my '88 subaru 4wd wagon. Would I be able to put on studded 185/80R/13's without any problems? We just bought this subie last week, and I found some free studded tires, so before I do any possible damage, I wanted to ask around. Thanks!

Thanks anyway. I called the Subaru people here in Anchorage and they told me not to use these tires. Would be too big and mess up the car computer.

eh, as long as there are no clearance issues, and as long as the tyres are all the same size, then they can't cause any problems, the speedo will under-read slightly, but that is it.
