Waste of time. If the govt get less money from fuel duty they'll only increase tax on something else. And with increasing concern about carbon footprints and a oil industry at maximum supply, there's little chance of the price dropping much. In a couple of years time we'll be saying, remember when petrol was ONLY £1/litre !

Another abuse of the infraction system. This isnt trolling and no one has been insulted. Are you no longer allowed to hold a differing opinion from the majority? Its like Lord of the Flies.

The apathy is quite disturbing and is exactly what this govt. relies on to impose whatever it considers easy fodder. It may be true that no notice will be taken of this petition, an attitude proven to be true in the past, but to do nothing is to just roll over in total submission.
To cster - stupid statement, mate. It matters not a jot what car you drive, the principle is the same!

With regards to an earlier posters remark about 'apathy': it could be argued that it is naive to think that any amount of signatures could influence a decision...
