Easy - don't throw cigarette butts out of the window!
It's something that really annoys me

Agreed.

Not just *** butts, but I can't stand it when people throw empty crisp packets etc out of the car too. And why do people when eating in the car parks at McDonalds/Burger King then proceed to dump there trash out of the car & into the middle of the car park? Put it in the f*cking bin Tw*t

Aye been here before. Don't like tabs in your car - don't smoke in it. Car has a perfectly servicable ashtray for this sort of thing if you do want to smoke in it.

A tax on ignorant and selfish behaviour - well done.

That's just the normal behaviour for the chav halfwits that eat in those fast food places. Personally I don't. If they want to cover the local "Maccy Dees" car park in litter then its fine by me so long as it doesn't blow into other places. Anyway it keeps Billy no stars in a job as he has to go and pick it up

Edited to say:
I don't eat there either. Ever since "Super Size me" & Jamies School dinners, I refuse to eat McDonalds etc.

I saw a case in greater Manchester where a council official claimed he had witnessed someone throw a cig butt out of a car window. The driver quite rightly challenged it as it was a "your word against mine case"... It went to court. The driver lost...
So the precedent is set. Get a job working for the council claim to see someone you dont like "disguarding a cig butt" from a car and watch them pay...

I agree littering is an action of sub human scum and guilty parties should be forced to eat what they throw...

That said, the concept that your are guilty until proven innocent (as was the case in the greater Manchester case) makes a mockery of British Law...

Cig butts are still litter, its surprising how many people just don't see them that way. Ash seems a bit harsh but I don't see how you can prove it either way.

Couldn't agree more, and whilst we are on the subject why do smokers ask for special rights whilst at work and have to go out for a *** at least 3 times a day, 3x10mins x 5 days = 2.5 hours, so the non smokers like myself have to work 2.5 hours a week more than these selfish morons

And the smell when they come back in and sit next to you makes me want to puke

Its their choice to smoke so why do all the non smokers have to cover for them whilst they are out having a social? just another example of smokers being the usual selfish *******s!

Sonic.

At my work, I am entitled to 2x15 breaks (excluding lunch), which I use to go out for a cigarette. It takes me all of 5 minutes maximum to do so, and I go straight back to work, while the non-smokers take their full 15 minute break. Don't think I fall into the selfish bracket there

Yes we are told that but we are also told that that 10 mins doesnt mean you can sit and do nothing. We have to find other work which doesn't involve a computer, whereas people who smoke can do just that
