Out of curiosity, did Tesco insist you had a tracker fitted? Privilege did with me ('tho the quote was a bit less-but the tracker annual fee makes it more, and there was £599. 00 purchase and fitting costs.)

No tesco didn't insist on a tracker !! so i suppose it's a lot cheaper ? by the way if i had lmited myself to 10.000 miles a year i could have got it for £440 but i do up to 15.000 so too bad !!??

Bizarre cos whenever I do a quote for any variant of an Impreza (turbo'd of course) it automatically asks which tracker type I have. That is a very good ins price for that mileage - dont mean to be nosy but what are ur ins details i.e. age, area etc.

I'm getting my first in about 3 weeks. I had a nightmare - rather than it coming on a transporter from Belgium, the carrier decided to let someone drive it over, taking the mileage to 1,200. This meant that I missed the first service and defaulted on the warranty. Sad, eh ?

Yep, big bad bill,Tesco does work out a lot cheaper. Wish I'd contacted them for an alternative quote. Still, I suppose I do have the comfort of a tracker now.....
