Noise from Rear only while going uphill
Hey all,
I've got a 2002 Subaru Forester automatic at 94,000 miles and it has developed a loud vibration/noise coming from the rear end of the car that only develops when going uphill in the passsing gear. It fades as you let off the gas, or if it shifts into 4th. Kick it down again and it'll come back. It's been doing it since we moved and starting going up the mountains here in Colorado. Any help would be appreciative.
