You know if it looked like this:

It would have been stunning, the new car is a failure on many levels. Hopefully someone will bring out a wide arch kit with something to get rid of that ugly front end

Quite encouraging they've managed to keep the weight down, the Spec C variant should be almost the same weight as the current Spec C.

The best STI so far without doubt. I loved my old STI PSE II but this one makes me go mad :-) In a positive way. I love the interior of this one and also the widebody exterior. Viva la 80´s.

In my very humble opinion (only being a scooby driver for 6 months), I think its pants. Just looks like another "hot hatch", lost all its originality and character.

Of course opinions do vary and I'm sure some will love it but its just aint right

I hate the WRX, but love the STI. The wide-bodied hatchback format reminds me of the Escort Cosworth. And the fact that the body is different from the rest of the range will make it even more special.

The text says it is a 2 litre, why are Subaru not using the 2.5 as in the current STi?

We need the figures for the UK / Euro 2.5 model. Twin scroll 2 ltr is bound to perform that bit better

I have to admit, I'm begining to warm to it. Looks quite good in Silver with the 5 spoke alloys.
Wonder if I'd be able to order them in Gold?

If the rumour is true, and it'll have 330BHP out of the box, it should be pretty quick. PPP on top of that, we could be seeing 360-370BHP.

Impreza STI the official photos from Subaru : Nihon Car .com

I think the pics of it in silver look great. Very nice and I'm beginning to wonder how much I'll get for my trade-in....

Like it, going to take some getting used too but I like it ....looks quite aggressive from some angles, think I prefer it to the Evo actually, the concept for the Evo looked good but the end result just looks sort of awkward to me .

Glad I sold my 03 STi when I did, so I've just got to sell my house and I'll have the funds I need for a JDM 08 or if I can a 08 type 25

It is a shocking backwards design, it looks something in between a mazda and focus, from the rear quarter it looks like and estate and there are no flowing lines. It just does not gel. Juk.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it's the EVO X that's got me smitten - and you just know that a few months down the line their engineers will develop their flagship 366bhp engine in to something even better - and what a magnificient animal that will be. however, I can't afford one so I'll be hanging on to my blob eye for a good while yet

I believe It will sell well...and that's important for the future of Subaru. I also think it looks no worse then any other Impreza model and will in fact soon be seen as upto date in its design and soon make classics...bugeyes...hawkeyes look dated.
This looks like a road going WRC and if it pumps out what it is rumoured, it will be an awesome beast.

Just wait until i fit a massive wrc winged spoiler on the back with quad afterburner vortex exhaust system.....

I still think it looks crap, just another hothatch. I will not buy one for sure, and I also agree with an above poster: it won't last 2 years
