Default What BHP would i be looking at?

I have got a MY00 classic with PPP with no other performance mods as of yet.

After Xmas i will be getting a de catted system from downpipe back and a remap (not sure where im going to get it mapped yet)

What BHP should i get out of the above mods?

Cheers

Walbro 255 Fuel Pump, upgrded turbo, Turbo to intercooler 'Y' pipe and a fresh remap. Worth probably changing to cooler running plugs as well.

As said 270-280BHP with simalar torque

You don't need an uprated fuel pump as these are good for 330-350BHP but for peace of mind you may want to change it, only takes about half an hour to swap them over.

The turbo is your restricting factor, you might want to swap this for a TD05 or a VF series one, I've got a VF28 on mine which I only paid £125 for two years ago and I get 330 BHP out of my MY99

Its a slippery slope once you start changing things like the turbo though...

I take it by slippery slope you mean the reliability will be affected?

How far can you go with the BHP without affecting reliability much?

id say your close to the limit with 280/290 on a TD04 turbo. I wouldnt say changing the turbo would make the car less reliable, my classic has a TD05 and pushing close to 350bhp, i have eaten a few mafs but i think Api has fixed that for me and touch wood no other problems.
