I remember when they did the Richard Burns memorial service is was live on the WRC site and they also had the recording saved so you could listen to it by visiting the website, does anyone know if the WRC site recorded the service or any other motorsports website as i couldn`t get to Scotland and i wouldn`t mind the chance to listen to the service.

Sorry but I really think this is overkill............ If you cant make a funeral for some reason do you ask a friend to take a recorder along with them so you can listen later? Is nothing sacred anymore?

It wasn`t a funeral, it was a service to celebrate Colin McRae`s life. I couldn`t make the service due to illness, it would have been nice to hear the tibutes thats all hence why i asked.

The WRC recorded the Richard Burns service to celebrate his life and you could listen via the website, it was a great service with so many people paying tribute to him.

Celebrating someone`s life is an overkill as you put it, i think not!

Might be worth contacting him, as I'm sure for a donation to the families chosen charities, he could send you a copy on DVD or similar.
