FAO Those attending Rally Day Sept 22
For those attending Rally Day Sept 22
As a further mark of respect to Colin McRae and those involved in the accident at the weekend, those attending rally day will be tieing a black ribbon to the drivers side wing mirror of our Imprezas.
To keep this uniform throughout the Impreza community I have spoken with JD5217 and Phil Stephens and we have agreed that the Ribbon should be solid black and 1" thick. Length to be confirmed this evening.
If you are travelling to rally day please have the ribbon on your car as you travel to the event. If however you are unable to obtain this before the event please come and see me on the SIDC stand.
Please forward this information to those that you know who are attending in an Impreza or Legacy.

I understand where you are coming from though don't think we should be restricting this to just Subaru's. Having just sold the scooby i now i still want to show my respects

and it should be the owners choice to tie something to their car not something that is expected by everyone 
i of course will try to do as the other are doing but if i wont be busting a gut to get one by saturday as i am very busy at work
