Default Problems I should expect!

Hi. I hijacked the thread below asking about buying an Impreza and what problems to expect. I am expecting to spend 6-7k and fancy either the last of the classic or the bugeye. What level of quality would I expect from that amount of money? What are the differences in servicing between the two models? Is high mileage a problem? I have had a look on auto trader etc. and it seems it is a buyers market. Just need to sell the Leon Cupra now!

Classic needs a service every 6 months or 7.5k. Uk Bugeye requires annual service only. Bugeye was better built, certainly inside. Mileage not a problem as long as its been looked after...warmed up, cooled down, not thrashed every time its driven. Bugeye WRX only had same power as Classic with more weight so it feels sluggish compared to Classic.Drive both and see which you prefer. Good luck
