Some pics of the new JDM Impreza.
I know quite a few pics have been posted before of the new car but these are ones i have not seen personally, it gives us more of an idea what we will be getting and that will be about as good as it gets i would think..

If you design a Hatch back it will either look like a Honda, Seat, Ford or Peugot because that's a Hatchback otherwise you put a fat 4rse on it then it will look like a Renault.
They look better in the Flesh and much better than the N/A versions that are in show rooms and the STi are due after the new year
I drove one of the first ones in the UK , this Tuesday and yes it is a Hatchback but it is FAR more roomy inside than my MY06 STi the driving position is also much lower. I don't reckon even with a crash hat on it will touch the roof
This S-GT is much more tweakable than a 07 WRX imho

Well, I think the STi version looks great, its just how I imagined it to be with the flaired arch's and roof spoiler but didn't expect the bonnet vent to be that large.
I like it

It's a chavved up Rover 25, and as such, an abomination.
I can't see sales being buoyant here, and I reckon it'll still bomb out in the WRC, since the other teams are running prototypes in the same class.........

Before I saw the light, I'd always wanted some kind of hot hatch, now I've gone the other way and love the car I drive.
And as I said in another post, as soon as my girlfriend looked over my shoulder when I was viewing some of the early pics and said "ooh I like that, its much prettier than your car" (or something like that) I knew that it wasnt off to a good start.
Maybe it will look good in the flesh, maybe it will be a good drive, but I think theyve bottled out on challenging the norm here and have just fallen in line with the rest of the pack.
So when the 08 comes out and my girlfriend buys hers, if anyone see's me driving it around Bish, feel free to point and laugh.

Subaru have already stated that they are thinking of changing the looks already as they did not get the response they thought they would(believe it or not, lol).
You just have to look in this months Evo at the side pic of the new Evo X which they are testing next issue, why go the hatch back route that is already choked with models.
Wrong move IMO, they already have a niche in the sports saloon sector.
