WRX wagon ?????
Bit of a dilema here, i've got a max of 10k to spend on a wrx wagon and really wanted one with PPP. However there don't seem to be many for sale at the mo. What would you say is the best option from these below (other suggestions appreciated:-
1. Spend £8000 on the car and get the PPP done (£1750 inc VAT)
2. Spend the full £10k on a car and get a newer one
3. Spend £8000 on the car and leave £2000 to spend on mods alternative to PPP.
What reliable power can i expect to get from a WRX wagon (02 reg for example) if i choose no.3 and what do i need to do to achieve this. Sorry for question after question but if you cant ask here where can you ask.
TIA
Andy.

hi mate, i'm not sure, but i think there was an offer for the WRX ppp for £999 on SIDC.
the MY04 WRX wagon i had made 283bhp/278lbft. Full decat including up pipe, uprated panel filter, samco intercooler hose and ecutek by Powerstation. Made for a very stealth wagon, easy to drive as well.

I would suggest option 3. PPP is only worth doing if you need to retain the original warranty. I spent approx £1500 on my 55 plate getting it to 285-290bhp (better than PPP).
Option 2 could also be an idea if you could live with a standard car for a while and start saving up. A modded car is so much better that you would probably have to do it eventually.

I've just come into work and the PC wont display any pics uploaded from photobucket e.t.c . Reading the Ad WWSC has certainly ticks all the boxes, i'll take a look tomorrow at home and them speak to my bro about a bit of a road trip. WWSC will PM in a min mate.
Lee i've sold my classic on now so if you see it being driven like a complete nobber (its likely) it ain't me.
Cheers
Andy.
