Caliper Paint
I'm looking to paint my calipers. What brand is most hard wearing etc? Where is the best place to buy from for a good deal?
Cheers,

Lots of folk use Hammerite smooth paint, aka "Smoothrite", available from many DIY places, carshops etc in a whole load of colours inc metallic.
It's hard-wearing, resists heat, and MUCH cheaper than "proper" caliper paint. It also paints DIRECTLY onto rusty metal, the only thing you'd need to do would be to wire brush the flakes off.
It also has the advantage of being very quick-drying, but you do need it's own thinners, or the brush will set solid, and most other thinners won't touch it.

I used hamamerite on my old 4 pots. No problems what so ever, but agree with the comment about thinners though. We'll worth it, cleans your hands as well as the brush in seconds!!!!
