Just wondered what other peoples opinions were on my choice of lights lol.

First pic is factory standard "Lexus" style lights.
The second are lights from a MY03-MY05 Impreza.

The second being my choice, hence I have replaced them.

What you think ?

As for what were they smoking.... I thought they might have struck up a deal with POTN or Ripspeed to supply parts!
Shockingly bad, and more to the point, only one reverse and one fog light. Totally unbalanced look!
I love the 03-05 ones with the HUGE brake lights...

Prefer the newer ones myself, the other ones just look outdated now IMO

 

Fair play mate personal opinion is what the world is about Just wondered how many agreed with mine lol.

Would not be so bad if they had retained the layout and actual lights, and changed the lenses to the more clear ones as they have. But I just dont like having 1 fog and 1 reverse, always looks like a bulb has blown to me lol

 

Ive done the exact opposite to you, i have the newer lights on my 2003 sti.

 

Hehe fair play, if I had known they were desired by 03-05 drivers I would have offered a swap. Still would think about it for a good conditioned set. As these are not as perfect as I would like.

Don,t think the lexus lights look to bad on newer cars,but think you,ve made the right choice.

 

Mines a MY05 so perhaps I'm a tad biased anyhoo, carry out the "JDM light cluster" alteration too & you'll be laughing

Glad a large chunk prefer the ones I went for.
But seems there might be a market for me to sell or swap mine

 

^^ On mine the round rear lights are the "lights" with the square ones being the brake lights. Looks miles better IMHO & is the opposite to the UK cars.
