Hi,
An issue was raised at the Fleet meet at the week, we had 25+ scoobs, and the idea of name tags for people came up, as it was getting a little confusing trying to remember 35 odd names..
We came up with this idea, but didnt know whether it was:
a) possible to do..
b) financially viable for ScoobyNet
Basically, taking the items of clothing like:
Polo Shirt
T Shirt
Rugby Shirt
Sweat Shirt
Would it be possible to have our sign-in names incorporated with the Scoobynet Logo, for example directly under it??
And if yes, to get some idea of whether its a viable option for ScoobyNet, how many would be interested in this sort of thing?
Rgds, Alex

Well, I s'pose "Blow Dog" embroidered under the logo could be amusing!?
Doesn't have to be huge, just subtly put under the scoobynet logo..
Stickers would work too !
Just an idea a couple of talked about..
cheers, Alex

Disregard the above comment since it could be open to wild mis-interpretation!!
Markus brought this issue up a while ago WRT nametags and I seem to remember it being laughed off....It is definately a good idea as it is v.difficult to remember everyones names. How much more could it cost...I'd imagine it's probably the hassle factor of having 4000 jackets personalised

To be fair, I would feel like a tw@t wearing a jacket with my name on it, and then I could only use it once a month at best!!! (I sure as hell wouldn't wear it anywhere else!!!)
It would feel like I was school again, name tag on the duffle coat, and mittens with a piece of string (too short, of course!!) to join them together!!!

I have been wearing a jacket bearing my name , blood group and nationality every day for years now - don't feel the least bit self-conscious.

ps - how about pairs of brown trousers for passengers on track days?
