I have just heard some interesting news on the new STI 7, this is from our main dealers' workshop manager... New STi will be delayed due to inability to produce enough six speed gearboxes. Currently they can only make around 1000 'boxes per month... Japanese Subaru dealers have orders exceeding 2000 STi's / Mth !!. He has driven the car in Japan and raves about the "overall package"... revs drop only 1200rpm between shifts, keeping the engine on the boil..
All orders (NZ) have been put on hold, with some deals already done !!, their trade-ins sold...;-(
