Ribblehead, Cat'n'Fiddle, Buttertubs, Kirkstone, Hardknott, Wrynose, Whinlatter, Greenhow Hill, Bolton Abbey or Skipton to Aysgarth and the Atlantic Highway in Cornwall are my faves.

Pass through dollar and on to Pool of Muckart keep left and drive up the A823 towards Glen Eagles. Come of the A823 and join the A822 into Crief, then join the A85 towards Comrie , leave Comrie on the B827 heading for Braco. I know three of the roads mentioned are A roads but the are worth it just to drive along the B827.

A508 heading south from Northampton, left onto the Raode Hill (Roade)... then a take a the small country lane heading down to hanslope and eventually Haversham/Castlethorpe.
Awesome road, tight, technical, blind bends and big dips in the road - need a solid car for this bit.

An A road thats thinks its a B road is the A686 Penrith to Alston trek via Hartside Summit (the latter being the highest market town in England) Its my favourite, is very popular with the biking fraternity and was voted by the AA magazine as one of their 'Ten Great Drives' but don't take their word for it

Don't know what the road number was but it was from Lossiemouth to Aviemore along some fantastic B roads. I was away with work staying in Aviemore working at Lossiemouth, started work at midnight and finished at 7am. It was only for a week and drove it in a works transit van . Made a couple for lads sick in the back of the van trying to shave times off my previous run , ah the memories.
