WRX STI Spec C type RA-R is probably THE best all rounder, quickest, most powerful out of the box car (even though the S204 shares the same engine it is 120kg heavier), Im not adding in the Type 25 because its an aftermarket upgrade, so just sticking to factory (new) cars

1995 altered-production WRX STI Type-RA. Blueprinted engine; manicly short gearing; first appearance of DCCD and..... a roof vent.
Old school!

Driven a few and personal fave is 95/6 STI Type RA V Limited (has to be white!) After that would have to be STI 8 PPP.

No Classics had either lightened body panels (other than a standard aluminium bonnet) or thinner glass.

another vote for the 22b and the factory altered wrxs-sti models.
something very raw and special about the altered early models that the production of the later sti's didnt have.
